A book that scares me more now than when I read it in high school is 1984.
As far as scary movies go, I can’t name any because I stay away from them. I’m not a horror fan. Of the movies I have watched, I suppose there are scenes that have caught me by surprise with some unexpected turn or momentary violence, but I don’t seek out scary movies. We get enough violence and gore in real life.
