Damar Hamlin has been assessed as “neurologically intact” and scribbled something like, “Who won the game?” when he regained consciousness. I guess by now he might have some sense for what has unfolded since. The game has been declared a “no contest” by the NFL and apparently won’t be played. Wow.
I wonder how the players get their mojo back. It might make one wonder how much they were affected by what happened—if they’re a bit shaken, or if it’s in the past and they’re ready to beat up on each other again.
Probably won’t slow down the NFL at all. They won’t miss a beat. So to speak.
